What You’ll Learn
You’ll discover the three core dimensions of burnout and why they’re different from ordinary stress or fatigue. You’ll identify which of the six research-backed causes are affecting your work environment—whether it’s workload, lack of control, insufficient reward, breakdown of community, absence of fairness, or values mismatch. Most importantly, you’ll understand burnout as a systems issue, not individual weakness, so you can address root causes rather than just symptoms.
How It Works
At a manageable pace of approximately 30 minutes per week, you will complete 3 lessons per week, this online course delivers 24-36 concise 10 minute lessons over 8-12 weeks. Each lesson combines short videos, real workplace scenarios, self-assessments, and practical exercises—designed to fit into your workday without overwhelming. You’ll build skills progressively: from recognizing early warning signs, to understanding how burnout affects your body, to applying evidence-based techniques like boundary-setting and energy management.
Beyond Individual Strategies
While you’ll gain personal prevention skills, this course goes further. You’ll learn to identify systemic factors that contribute to burnout—both for yourself and your team—and understand how sustainable change requires addressing workplace conditions, not just teaching people to “cope better.”
Put It Into Practice
After completing the course, you’ll be invited to a live workshop to practice these techniques with real scenarios. Because reading about setting boundaries is one thing—actually doing it takes practice. You’ll also complete self-management benchmarks at key intervals to track your progress and ensure lasting behavior change.
